Degrade high flow rates
In pipelines with a very strong down grade (≥ 10%) sewage can obtain high flow rates of 6 - 8 m/s. Such high flow rates will reliably be degraded within the HS® Energy Conversion Chamber. Inside the chamber, the flow energy is degraded through the rotary movement of the sewage water when it streams in, before the sewage water runs through the centre of the spherical shaped chamber bottom out of the existing opening. Due to the smooth surface of the chamber, deposits on the surface are avoided.
The HS®-Energy Conversion Chamber can be equipped with connections in the nominal diameters of DN/OD 160 up to DN/OD 250. The inlet will be installed tagentially in the chamber. Der HS®-Energy Conversion Chamber is characterized by its monolithic design. Another advantage is the low weight: The istallation is much easier and the economical effiiciency will be increased – This is a big plus, especially for construction sites with hilly conditions and pathless grounds.
