Effective treatment of rainwater
The HS®-Silt Trap Chamber DN/OD 800 with stainless steel sieve is equipped with an inlet and outlet in the nominal diameters of DN/OD 250. The stainless steel sieve is designed in such a way, that the rainwater from catchment areas of up to 2000 m² can be treated.
The stainless steel sieve (1.4301) is especially effective in retaining particles like leaves, sand etc. - the fine particles will settle in the sedimentation area prior to the sieve. The stainless steel sieve must be cleaned and controlled on a regular basis. Adequately dimensioned emergency overflows assure the functionality of the system, even if there are blockages in the sieve.
