HS-Slotted Pipes DN/OD 110 - 800 / 10.5 kN/m² (Partly slotted, Fully slotted-, Multi-purpose pipe)
High Strength slotted drainage
HS®-Slotted Pipes were developed for use in gravel pipe infiltration trenches (french drains); for the drainage of sealed areas such as airfields, sport facilities, roads, carparks and for shallow installations with increased static requirements
HS®-Slotted Pipes are produced in DN/OD 110 to DN/OD 630. The slot design corresponds to DIN 4262-1 (Piping Systems for Civil Engineering subsoil Drainage: Plastic Pipes, 01.2001). Individual slot designs are available.
High static safety
Because of the high ring stiffness of minimum 10.5 kN/m2 (slotted), HS®-Slotted Pipes are perfectly adapted for shallow installations with high loads. The theoretical longtime deformations are generally below 3% under ”usual“ conditions, the contingency reserves against stress and stability failures are considerably above the required values. Because of the smooth wall structure, HS®-Slotted Pipes have excellent hydraulic characteristics. As opposed to corrugated pipes, e.g. commercially available land drainage pipes / k = 2.0 mm, the absolute roughness in smooth wall pipes made of PVC-U is 0.01 mm maximum. The blue pipes have an effective length of 3 m respectively 6 m and can be equipped with a slot width of 2.5 mm (standard); 5.0 mm and 10.0 mm. The open surface amounts to at least 50 cm2/m with a slot width of 2.5 mm and at least 100 cm2/m with a slot width of 5.0 mm and 10.0 mm.
The advantages in practice:
- available designs: Fully slotted, Partly slotted-, and Multi-purpose pipe
- slot pattern according to DIN 4262-1
- excellent hydraulics
- chemically resistant
- jetting resistance
- ring stiffness S ≥ 10,5 kN/m2
